Melanie Davidson a PhD Candidate in the Imaging Research Laboratories at the Robarts Research Institute, won the best poster award in the Biophysics / Biomedical Engineering category at the Margaret P. Moffat Graduate Research Day on May 10, 2005. Her poster was entitled "Kidney stone composition analysis by x-ray coherent scatter: new insights for therapy?"

Mahdieh Khoshniat , a ME.Sc. Candidate in the Imaging Research Laboratories at the Robarts Research Institute, won first place in the Masters Student category at the first Robarts Research Day on January 28, 2004 for her poster entitled "Real-time Virtual Doppler Ultrasound". Congratulations Mahdieh!

Kathleen Surry, a PhD Candidate in the Imaging Research Laboratories at the Robarts Research Institute, won the best poster award in Biomedical Engineering at the Margaret P. Moffat Graduate Research Day on May 14, 2003. Her poster entitled "Three-Dimensional Ultrasound and Stereotactic Mammography Guided Biopsy: A Dual Modality System" was co-authored by Greg Mills, Dr. Donal Downey and Dr. Aaron Fenster.
